My long-running series Persona, which began in 2007, explores identity through objects. Each diptych pairs a portrait with a carefully organized photograph of the contents of the subject’s bag. Over time, the process of arranging these personal items has become deeply meditative for me—an act of both observation and composition.
Beyond Persona, this impulse to organize has expanded into other projects. I’ve photographed my own collections, created logos for companies using related objects, and collaborated with brands by arranging their products into thoughtful compositions. I’m continually experimenting with new ways to group, categorize, and visually structure everyday items, treating organization itself as a creative tool.
